    Hi Guys,

When I look at the system configs, strolling throuh the Vegas forums out there, I do not see many people using cards like Blackmagic’s Intensity, Decklink, or Canopus…
Is there no benefit in using such cards with Vegas Pro?
I’m not interested in their Capture features, but I would like to know if cards like these improve (playback and edit, rendering,…) performance in Vegas…
And if so, what would be the best (and most compatible) choice for Vegas?
Or would a pc upgrade be a better choice? (currently running on a Q6600 Quadcore win7 64 bit with 8Gb ram)

    Mark

Vegas is supposed to be all processor, so upgrading your processor might be best.
A solid state boot drive will also speed things waaayyyyy up, if you’ve got the cash.
    I hope that helps.
