Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro “bend” Clips…?

I don’t know of a plug-in that would automate this effect. However, an approximation shouldn’t be too difficult to construct in Premiere.

The filmstrip could be a still image with transparent alpha-channel holes to allow underlying tracks to show through.

Individual clips playing in each window in the filmstrip could be scaled and rotated using Motion, possibly with the application of the Wave Warp effect to bend the picture to match better the bend of the filmstrip.

If you want to bend the filmstrip dynamically, then make the basic composite in a separate sequence and apply the warp effect to the whole sequence on the main timeline.

If you are using all stills, then similar work in PhotoShop to produce a composite image would probably be less fiddly than doing it all in Premiere.

This is want I want. Thank you for your answer. Is the "wave warp effect" include in APP 1.5 or a separate plugin? (my problem is to find the effect in my german version...)

Thank you David. I find the effect in the german version (Komplexe Wellen). But, the problem is: this (and other) effects changes the content of the clips, not the outlines (borders)…

There is another effect in APP (named in german “Eckpunkte verbiegen” > “bend corners” in english?). But you can

You might also try the Lens Distortion effect after applying Motion to shrink the clip. You can see more easily what it does if you use the setup screen rather than the Effects Control Window sliders.
