Hi, This is probably a pretty basic question but hoping someone can give me some help.

I am running the PI3 Demo on a WindowsXP pc. When I try and bring in my after effects Quicktimes they don’t show up as supported?

Is this a demo thing or a PI thing?

If so what is the best way for me to render out of After Effects so I can bring in Movies to PI with minimal quality loss?

I usually render all my AE stuff in Quicktime.MOV millions of colors/animation.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The Windows version doesn’t have QuickTime support, so your best choice is either PNG sequence, or if you want a single file, an AVI using the Huffy UV codec. Huffy is free and lossless, just like the Animation compressor in QuickTime.

    Thank you Alan,

How do I import sequential files into PI?

Is the Huffy included on the PI disk or is that something I should google and download?

Is there a timeframe for QT for WinXP?

PI is Awesome I am ordering it as soon as I am home on the weekend.

You just select the first frame of a sequence and pI will ask if you want to bring it in as a sequence or as one frame. Huffy you can google for, not sure if there’s an official site out there for it.
