Begginer in ae scripting need advice?
Hi,
I am a beginner in scripting, I was watching some tutorials from David Torno, and it was really helpful, but I am trying to create something specific, and I am stuck so I need your help.
I would like to create a simple GUI with one text input and one “GO” button. In text I want to search every composition from comp001-comp100 and make it “my selection Comps” where I can put some solids.
How can I create this, is there someone who can help me with some resources?

Hi,
sorry for that… if I have 1000 different compositions in my project, I would like to select/search for “comp001”-“comp100” or “name001-name100”, so I need to input my text “comp001”, hit select/search, and have all comp001-comp100 selected in my script so I can add solids in every selected composition.
I know how to add solids to already selected compositions in project, but I need script to make a selection by text input with numbers from 0-100…
