Before I try to re-invent the DVD

i tries as a sort of backward compatibility for older pc’s with no dvd drive. now i simply use wmv on a cd…

March 1, 2007 at 3:03 pmIf you burn it to a video-CD (mpeg1) yes, many set-top players can handle those. But the quality isn’t all that much better than VHS.

March 2, 2007 at 12:40 amBurn a high quality MPEG-1 to the CD. Should be better than VHS but just lower than MPEG-2.
