Thanks for catching me on this one. Kevin is right, mine is mapped to cmd-d, like photoshop. Command-shift-a is, in fact, the default to deselect all. Sorry about that.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Final Cut can out-edit an Avid anyday, but Avid can WAAYYYY out manage media hands down.

As usual, a pretty stupid thread. I can give you tons of reasons why Avid is better. I can also give you tons of reasons why FCP is better. It’s all subjective. And BTW, I also work with a client who hates Avid, had FCP and is now dumping it for Premiere Pro (Axio) because he is sick and tired of the software real-time issues. So see … there’s something – or nothing – for everyone! 😉
