    Hi,

I am currently trying to install Premiere Pro 2.0 onto my Vista Basic (32) machine, but each time the install says it has finished successfully, lo and behold:

“registration information is invalid. please reinstall adobe premiere pro”

can’t go any further to update registration information. I’ve don’t have the CD and I have tried and tried again many times uninstalling and reinstalling. No joy.

I have also taken install files from colleagues computers to see if they even work but nothing.

I am at my wits end – any help would be much appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Adam Clements

You don’t have the CD, so how are you installing it?

It’s a trial version I’ve downloaded from the web, not the full thing – already got that at work but need it for one project on my laptop.

If you had a trial or beta version of any CS3 product installed previously and it expired, Premiere wont install.
Even a “paid for” full version will not install without some serious cleanup work.
The clean up involves installing “msicuu2.exe” from MS and running “winCS3clean.exe” from Adobe.
Wish I had links for ya.

that’s great help, thanks – I did have the CS3 beta on there. I’ll have a search for the files you’ve suggested.

    cheers!
