    Hi

I am trying to make one off BD disk for my client from a documentary with 4 language subtitles. Whatever I try it seems that the subtitles are rendered SD NTCS quality and the stretched to scale of 1920×1080. I tried text script and image script (images being 1920×1080 non anti-aliased 3 color)

Is there anything else I can try other than investing into decent authoring system?

    Thank You

I believe Encore limits Blu-ray subtitles to 2-bit graphics (same as DVD), and not the 8-bit that Blu-ray supports. It should still be high resolution though. Do you have a screenshot of what it looks like?

here is a real alternative, if you would like to do a bit more professional BDs:

    https://www.dvd-logic.com/easybd/

it could import BDN-scripts and a lot more.

if you would like to add nice looking menus you can use IGEditor to do so:

    https://www.dvd-logic.com/igeditor/

all in all it would cost 700$ (200$+500$) to create professional looking BDs – worth to have a look.

you can have a look at it – 21days-demo

    cheers

Thank You for taking a look.
I should have mentioned that I am working on OSX so I had to trust the Adobe preview engine. The preview engine renders the subtitles in SD for god knows what reason….. The final BD seems to have good quality subtitles, checked on PS3.
Now I have to deal with all the errors in the project and have the final built somehow!

    Thank You
