Using Boris plugin with NLE. BCC snow/rain adding to my text track.

Interaction>Use”Stick to layer” Track, when it applies all particles remain at the top. Why is my particles staying at the top when using text within Boris?

The only fix I have is apply the filter to NLE text track, however when I use customize, there is no text visible in Boris. Back in NLE the effect work fine. So, Boris is not recognizing the text from NLE.

    Bart,

By default, the snow or rain will stick to edges based on Alpha – that’s why it appears on Graffiti-made titles, and the top of the clip. In the Interaction tab, however, right below the ‘Use “Stick to Layer” Track’ checkbox, should be a pulldown menu that is, by default, set to Alpha. If you change this to Luma, the rain or show should fall onto a bright title, or if it’s a colored title, you can change this to something like Red or Green.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Jon,

Its always the little things. I was using black text, so alpha wasn’t seeing an object, even changing to luma /red or green. Once I changed the colour to white or any other, luma could see the object(text).

    Cheers and thanks.
