    BCC Optical Stabilizer

    Recently moved to Media Composer 4.0.5 Win / Mojo. Trying to use BCC6 effects like Optical Stabilizer and if the clip is several seconds long, BCC causes the program to force close. I also tried BCC Extruded Text and work flow is very slow or doesn’t work.

    Are there settings that could be wrong?

    I edit on Xeon 3.4ghz with 2 gb ram , Quadro 1300FX card.

    Hi,

    We approved BCC AVX on a similar set up as the one that you describe and I don’t recall any issues with the Optical Stabilizer or the Extruded Text filters.

    Have you considered trying the latest version of BCC AVX (which you can download from https://www.borisfx.com) to see if this eliminates the problems that you are seeing with your system?

    Otherwise all I can suggest is that you please get in touch with one of our techs via email (support@borisfx.com) and they will assist you in troubleshooting the problem.
