    BCC extruded text AE Bug ???

    Just d/l BCC extrude for AE CS5 for a test drive. Viewing does not work at different ratio, for example, with a 1920×1080 comp i can only view at 50%. Anything higher or lower will not work and once i enable anything but 50 %, the layer ( with BCC extrude ) goes blank. Once it happens, I have to exit AE and restart it again. Is this a bug ??

    I’m on CS5, ATI 5870, OX 10.6.4.

    Hello,

    Try setting it to full resolution (even if it your extruded text disappears) and save the project. Open the project back up and see if the text is back.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Even if you save your project at 100% view, it will reopen at 50% and as i’ve mentioned, 100% view does not work. I’ve spent 3 hrs with the demo so far, playing with BCC extruded text, and i find it VERY buggy. Mainly the layer just disappeared because of the problem mentioned above or intermittent layer disappearing simply by activating/playing a Camera layer. Basically anything to do with repositioning in 3D space just totally freaks BCC extrude out.
