BCC 8 / Vegas / stage lights
Vegas Pro 12, BCC8, latest version, Windows 7 ultimate, 32Gb RAM, I7
Newbie question:
Where are the ‘general controls’ in the stage lights effect? I cannot see where to set the track or the layer to which the lights are applied. I dragged the lights onto a png with alpha to experiment, and when I drop the effect onto the picture it is all black, save for the light which is on, which, from the avid tutorials on the site, I can see is normal. However, I do not have a ‘general controls’ section in the settings for the effect.
Could anybody tell me how to use this effect in VEgas?

Hi Stewart,
In the Sony Vegas Pro host, you need to apply the BCC Stage Light filter to a clip that is positioned on a track above the clip over which you want to see the effect.
