BCC 7: Invalid Filter – Missing in After Effects
I was working on a project using BCC7 (specifically FEC Rain). The HD with that project died. Once recovered, I re-opened the project, only to find that my BCC 7 filters were all missing. When I try to apply them, I get a “Invalid Filter” error in AE.
So I ran an uninstaller to uninstall all BCC filters, then re-installed. But despite checking “AE CS5,” they install to Mac/Library/App Support/
Why is that? So of course i put them in the Presets and Plugins folders of AE CS5 manually, but this results in them showing up, but not working.
So how do I re-install them into the proper After Effects CS 5 directories? Why would they go elsewhere?
