    bcc 7 avx to bcc 8 avx

    I was thinking of upgrading to BCC 8 AVX (32 bit) from BCC 7 and wanted to install the trial first to see if the upgrade is worth it. Should BCC 7 be uninstalled first?

    never mind… without uninstalling 7 first, I got errors. Now all seems fine.

    First, back up your BCC 7 installer in case you want to go back to it. Then install BCC8 over BCC 7. The two versions can not co-exist.
