BCC 3.x “Witness Protection” filter not working cross platform!!!
I’m working on a project (using AE 6.51 on both WinXP and OS X) that requires heavy use of the Continuum “Witness Protection” filter. We are a cross platform shop, so I am constantly jumping from workstation to workstation.
today on my Mac, when I opened the AE project which had been created on the Windows box, all of the layers which had the Witness Protection filter on it were disabled because AE said it couldnt find the plugin, even though it is installed (same version–the latest version–on both windows and the mac)!
Since there are almost 100 layers with this plugin applied, going in and manually re-applying the filter on the mac side is absolutely out of the question.
Whats going on here? All the other BCC plugins in the project seem to transfer without any problems.
please help!
