RaveHD 2.0 is an uncompressed client/server frame based DDR-VTR product that utilizes both commodity hardware and the Linux OS. Designed for a multi-user high-end film workflow, RaveHD offers a variety of tools that bridge the gap between video and film in a standard non-proprietary solution. Currently RaveHD supports both 8 and 10bit SD, HD, Dual Link and 2K HSDL all within the same interface.
RaveHD also supports all of the slave and master controls associated with high-end decks and offers such features as conforming, inserts, embedded timecode and slave record to name a few. RaveHD includes the source code to it’s clients in addition to an upgrade path.
The entire code base was written by SpectSoft, a privately held company.
Look forward to showing off the new version.
