    Schedule of Events
    6:30 pm – 7:00 pm | Registration & Networking
Meet other editors and Avid representatives.

    7:00pm – 7:45pm | Digital Asset Management
Jennifer McClain will be showing MerlinOne’s digital asset management system. The system makes all digital content searchable, including documents, photos, graphics and video. Using MerlinOne’s Speech-to-Text abilities and it’s powerful DOX search engine, even spoken words in video are indexed and made searchable. Best of all, data can be transferred directly from MerlinOne into industry standard non-linear editors with markers and their respective notes included.

    8:00pm – 9:00pm | Sony XDCAM EX Workflow
Rule Broadcast will present the Sony XDCAM EX solid state workflow working with a Media Composer 3.x.

The BAVUG would like to thank our presenters MerlinOne and Rule Broadcast, and National Boston for hosting this months’s meeting. We would also like to thank our very generous sponsors:
    Avid Technology, Inc.
    GenArts, Inc.

    We appreciate your continued support!

We are also currently seeking additional sponsors and volunteers to help propel the BAVUG to a new level in 2008. If you would be interested in providing sponsorship or helping out the board at future meetings, let us know!
