Been wondering on my live events if I should add a battery backup to the set up. If the power goes down then the whole show is done anyway but thinking a battery backup would let me stop record, power down etc. if it did happen. Thoughts from anyone doing live events? If so I was looking at this model: APC Power Saving Back-UPS Pro 1500 (120V)

    Thanks,
    Tony

I like to take along at UPS. A lot of times hotel power isn’t that great, plus the security of the battery is always a plus. the wattage output simply depends on how much you’re actually plug into it. You have to calculate that by adding up all the wattage requirements of each individual piece of equipment.
