  • Bath Movie Export with Final Cut and Saving Export Presets?

I was wondering how to do a batch export of several timelines in a queue as opposed to one at a time. I assume that there is some way to do this using compressor, but I was wondering if FCP had any built in queues to do this in that I’m unaware of. Also, does anyone know if there is a way to save your own custom export settings. I know if you go to custom the last ones you used will remain there, but is there a way to save your own personalized settings that can easily be recalled from the export settings menu when exporting QTs.

    sequences can be batch exported:

    https://www.lafcpug.org/tutorials/basic_batch_export.html

if you export as QTMovies, you have access to your entire list of SEQUENCE settings as output settings.

so if there’s something specific you want, create a new sequence preset that reflects that, and it will be available to you when you export as a QTMovie.

not all codecs and frame rates are available in Sequence settings, however,
so if what you want isn’t there,
you’ll have to batch export your sequences with “Current Settings” maybe even as reference movies,

    then use compressor.

    cheers,
    nick
