I’m working with HDV 1080-60i footage. I have a bunch of clips in the timeline with regions. I’m using the Scritp BatchRender-Regions and choosing the MainConcept MPEG-2/ HDV 1080-60i setting.
Can anyone verify that this is not compressing the footage at all, just making a copy of the origianl footage, just cutting it up with the region name i gave it?

    Thanks for your help.
    Mark.

I noticed that when I use the batchrender script, the audio does not match the origenal audio, in one clip I noticed that the level is lower and no audio in some places. Has this happened to any one else?

Having problems with using Batch Render with regions. I have 24 clips with regions on the time line. When I use Batch Render with HDV 1080, render regions settings, most of the rendered clips come out ok, but some clips seem to be corrupted, will not play in the timeline, Vegas will close with an error. or the audio is cut in spots of the clip. Has anyone come across this? any workaround? I would like to have individual clips. I was able to render the project to HDV 1080 with regions markers; this will give me one big file with regions. I come out fine, no problems that I can see. But I would still like to have the individual files instead.

Well with all the testing I’ve done, all I can say is, Using the batchrendar script for HDV footage is broken. I can’t get any usable footage out of it.
