I have a bunch of canera RAW files I need to convert to JPEGs.

I have selcted them using the Bridge.

When the Action opens the RAW file, it stops, beause the RAW file needs to be OPENED or SAVED, where it appears in PhotoShop. But I cannot get the clicking on either the OPEN or SAVE buttons to be part of the action command.

Anyway, does anybody have an ACTION or suggestion as to how I can BATCH change a bunch 0f RAW to JPEG? Ideally, I’d also like to size thenm at 720 x 480 at 72ppi for use in Final Cut Pro.

Afvice, actions, or solutions most welcome!

Look under teh automate menu for Image Processor…

also.. woudl suggest in your camera.. most of option to Shoot Raw + basic the basic is an identical JPEG.. saves a lot of work…

RAW files are meant to be ‘devloped’ manually so you can choose the dynamic range and otehr issues. Just batching to JPEG completely defeats the point of shooting RAW in the first place.
