I’m trying to find a fast way to batch sync footage via timecode (there’s no audio). Turns out Plural Eyes can’t do this so I was hoping Adobe might have a solution. Closest thing I found was to select all clips in Premiere Pro and make a Multi-Cam Source Sequence based on Timecode. Problem with this method is every clip is placed on a new track, there’s no way to have all A-Cam on V1 and all B-Cam on V2. So I have around 90 tracks each with 1 clip of footage, some massive gaps in the timeline between clips (which makes the smaller ones appear as single lines when zoomed out) and no conceivable way how this could be useful.

Here you can see what I’m talking about. About 50 tracks higher there are a smattering of B-Cam shots above the footage you see on the timeline now – keep in mind this is just a very small section of the timeline, it’s about 10 times longer than what’s seen here. Any ideas on how to make sense of this feature or have it perform in a manner that is useful (E.g. all A-Cam on V1, all B-Cam on V2, etc…)?

    Thanks!

Uncheck Single Output Sequence in Multicam creation dialog.
