I have a sequence of selected shots on my timeline (sometimes multiple shots from the same source clip). I’d like to export them all as individual clips, use Adobe Bridge to sort, categorize, and rename them, and then re-import them in to FCP. I couldn’t find any way in the documentation (or in this forum) to do this within FCP.

However, I’m sure I’m not the first one to want to do this, so I wondered if there might be a 3rd party plug-in or a script someone has written to accomplish this.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts,

    Steven

Drag the shots into a bin and batch export them.

    All the best,

    Tom

You’re not the first but you just didn’t look very far.
Open the online manual for FCP and enter BATCH. See what comes up. you’re looking specifically fro BATCH EXPORT.
