    Hey Fellows,

I have 22 timelines that need to be sped up 200%, and 400%. I’m trying to avoid making 44 new timelines with speed adjustments on each.

I can’t seem to find anything in the output settings for Batch Export in FCP or Compressor, and was hopping some of you fine gents may have some insight?

I’m running the most currently version of the FCP Studio.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Output a self contained quicktime with current settings for each sequence. In Compressor, setup and save the settings to do the 200 and 400% speed ups. Batch process.

Frame controls in Compressor will enable you to setup for best motion compensation for each speed. Most experienced Compressor people say to limit batch size so don’t try to do everything at once. It might be worth searching this forum for advice on Compressor and I am sure others will chip in.

I actually just found the frame control piece, and was about to come back to answer my own questions! It’s interesting though…

If you want your clip to be 200% faster, you have to make a clip that’s 50% shorter. Makes sense, just not the way I was thinking about it at first.

All depends on the point of view of the software writer and how they label.
