I had created Photoshop action that would resize the file to 480px height and copy it to new file with black background.

This was working fine as a batch action in previous ver of Photoshop. Now in Photoshop CS it works except that it aligns to left instead of center. Are there some settings that I need to check/Change?

Also If I cut/paste manually it does align to center by default.
By the way I have created new action in Photoshop CS and still aligns to left. Please help!!!

    Thanks

Hmmm – not sure if that’s a version difference or not – have you tried CS3? Maybe get the trial and see.

Usually for centering things by brute force I’ll add to my actions the following:

    Select>All
    Layer>Align to selection>Horizontal Centers
    (same)>vertical centers

Just make sure the layer you want to center is selected of course.

    Hope that helps!
