This is a screen shot of your SOURCE BROWSER taken from your YouTube video…. LINK and IMPORT

[Jonathan Reed] “1) which video files am i bringing into MC, “

Up to you….and the director. Are you going to use the newly made clips from RESOLVE as your master clips, or will they want you to somehow relink to the camera original for online. If you can use those clips from Resolve as masters, use those. If they want the camera masters, then LINK to those, and transcode for offline cutting.

[Jonathan Reed] “A) XDROOT -> CLIP that due to you saying THANK GOD THEY HAD THAT (I’m assuming that’s the file I needed all along, the one that is directly out of the camera and won’t cause me any issues to use) Select all those clips with the setting of LINK OR IMPORT then click IMPORT in the bottom right? again, there’s no discernible way that i can see to make that “IMPORT” button say “LINK” “

When you switch the option I point out to LINK, you’ll have the LINK option, and not IMPORT.
