  • batch import via CSV file

    Howdy,

I have a data base that includes columns with shot names and paths to those shots. This exports from the data base as a csv file.
Instead of manually importing 100 shots into after effects one by one, can I feed AE a doc that will do a batch import?
Anyone come across something like this before?

    Thanks

    Might OpenSesame do the trick?

Seems like I’ve seen other csv related utilities, but this is sort of the grandaddy.

This should be pretty trivial to script. What’s the format of your CSV data? Can you post a little sample that shows what the CSV export looks like?

    HyperImport does that.
    https://aescripts.com/hyperimport/

It allows local / online import, with .csv as well. Hope it helps!
