    Hello,

In Avid Xpress Pro HD, I am trying import a large amount of image sequences? Is there any way to automate or batch this process? In Smoke it is quite easy, just select any number of image sequences and select “execute and queue”, etc…Anything similar in Avid?

    Hi,

Not totally sure I understand what you’re asking. If you’re asking “How do I import multiple files?” then you go to File>Import and when the dialog box comes up, you can select as many files as you want.

If you’re asking, “How do I make Avid treat a sequence of still images as frames making up a clip?” then you have to give the files seqential names (file001.jpg, file002.jpg, etc) and select “Autodetect sequential files” during import.

Hopefully one of those answered your question.

    good luck,
    Carl
