  • Batch Exporting but nothing in Media Encoder

I’m trying to batch export 6 sequences from Premiere Pro CC 2017 (v 11.1.2) but nothing is appearing in the Media Encoder right side window.

    Here’s what I’m doing:

    Open Premiere Pro project
Select the 6 Sequences I want to export
    Select File> Export> Media

    The Export Settings window opens
    Format is QuickTime
I switch Present NTSC DV Widescreen to Custom
I make sure Export Video and Export Audio are both checked
I confirm Video Codec is correct (Apple ProRs 422 (LT)

Basic Video Settings shows width 1920 height 1080
Frame Rate, Field Order and spect are all checked as Based on Source

I Hit the Queue button – and Premiere begins Exporting Media and Exporting Data

The Media Encoder has opened but has not come to the foreground.

I select Media Encoder from the dock and many of the PreSets are open in the left window but no squences are showing in the right window, which only says “Not currently encoding.”

This is my first effort at batch encoding.

Have you tried sending each sequence out individually? You can still batch render from AME. When they are all in AME, just select them all and change your settings to what you need and select a location. You can change them all at once there.

I tried that – nothing happened until I clicked on the AEM menubar File > Add Source, and then every video I’ve every edit ed in APP showed up in the right side window!

I deleted what I didn’t need and proceeded. Thanks very much!
