I have multiple 1-3 minute segments for a show I need to export before bringing them into Squeeze to convert to .mpg files. Is there a way to do a batch export of these individual clips without creating multiple programs? Would love a way to automate this to run overnight. Thanks. Noah

This is pretty easy to do via AppleScript. In the AppleScript menu there should be a Script named “Export All Clips”, which does exactly that. This will export the selected ranges of the clips by reference in its default mode; but you can modify it easily if you need e.g. a Self Contained export or another codec.

Let me know in case you need assistance for modifying the script to your needs.

Floh- Looks like exactly what i need but i’m missing the process. Sitting on the timeline i have 20 segments that are a couple clips each. Export all pulls them from the bin but won’t do compound clips. So how do i get it to recognize the segments in the bin without them being compound clips? is there a manual somewhere that addresses this? More than happy to RTFM. thanks. N
