Batch Export Clips from timeline??
I have over 100 separate physician interviews in need of web export. I have created sequences (timelines) labeled Day1, Day2, etc… with 5-10 separate interviews on each timeline.
I am now needing to export these to a web capable format..
I have scoured the web for a solution to a batch export option, and so far, no luck..
I can’t be asking too much from final cut, right?Specs:
Final Cut Pro 6
Canon 7d H264 (1080, 30fps) -

Look up “Batch Export” in your FCP manual. It will have all of the steps you need to do this.
You can also export your sequences to Compressor as a batch. Select them all, right click & choose Export via Compressor.

A standard batch export is no problem…
The issue is batch exporting multiple separate clips from a single timeline… -

I did find a round-abut way…
I now copy/paste each segment to a new sequence… and then highlight and right click on all sequences in the bin, and selecting “batch export”For instance…
My Timeline:
///segment1//// ///segment2//// ///segment3////New Sequence 1:
///segment1////New Sequence 2:
///segment2////…etc
