  Batch Encoding Method? (R3D to Proxy – And Back)

  Hi all,

  So I’m currently working on a project shot on RED ONE MX at 4K 16:9, the rushes are sorted into a structure like so:
  RUSHES -> Scene No -> Shot No -> Take No -> Files

  We want to do the offline with a DnX36 workflow and want to batch encode the entire lot. Our initial plan was to make a duplicate of the entire file structure and use Media Encoder or RED Cine X to encode everything to DnX36, saving each of the files next to their R3D counterparts, then deleting the R3D’s from the duplicate.
  That would give one version with R3D’s and one with DnX36’s which are otherwise identical, this way we can just relink to the other directory when it comes to online.

  The issue we have with this is trying to import the structure into CineX or Media Encoder and setting it up to save the files how we want. Is this at all possible?
