    Hi there,
I have a stop-motion related question. Usually when making stop-motions I use a still camera, but for time-saving purposes for quick pre-production tests I shot the animation full on with a video camera. My question is, does Adobe Premiere have a built-in way to throw out every second frame in a clip? I’m fine with doing it manually but it’s a long process, so I figured I’d check in case anyone had any ideas. It would save me hours of work, so thanks for any suggestions!
    best,
    Annie

Unless I’m not following you the easiest way to do that would be to just play the clip at 200% and voila every other frame is gone. Also Sapphire has a freeze frame plugin that will hold frames by whatever interval. If you put in the value of 2 it would hold the first frame and play it twice and then skip the next frame and then hold the third one twice etc.

Rereading my post I see I wasn’t that clear but your Sapphire plugin option sounds perfect. I also experimented with the posterize time effect and it’s getting me that choppy look.
    thanks Robert!
