  • Batch Deinterlace?

Does anyone know of an app, standalone or plugin, that will batch deinterlace for me. I’ve got interlaced cameras only and everythinng I do is for video. I’d like to take a whole pile of captured files and deinterlace them in one shot instead of going clip by clip in Premiere. I’m thinking a dedicated app will do a better job than the Adobe Media Encoder. I output everything in .flv. I shoot in NTSC DV. I’m using an Intel Mac Pro.

    Thanks

From the website it looks like they don’t have a universal version for Mac. Is this the case or do they just need to update the FAQs?

The release version will run on either G4, G5 or Intel Macs. There is also an Intel-only version in beta that you can request, it runs about 50% faster vs the release version on Intel.

Has anyone used JES Deinterlacer? Do you like it? I’m wondering if it is suitable as an alternative to the DVFilm Maker, a free alternative.
    thanks
