Batch converting in Adobe Media Encoder
Hi Guys,
I have a bunch of .MTS files that I’d like to convert to prores and the only encoder I own that can do it is Adobe Media Converter.
I am just wondering what the easiest way to batch convert these files is- the problem being that we shot at many different frame-rates but I cant see any option in media encoder to leave the frame rate the same as the source video- I have to choose a frame rate meaning that I’ll have to go through all the clips and input the correct frame right rather than being able to convert them quickly in one batch. IE if I select 25fps for the batch, the 100fps shots will convert to 25p when I want the frame rate to remain the same for each clip.
Am I missing something here?

Ya I don’t think that will work for quicktime files.
Works only for things like encoding mpeg.
Is there a particular reason you need to transcode them and
not edit natively? -
Thanks for your reply. Because After Effects will not open the MTS files. They are from a Sony FS700
