Batch convert sub clips
I am using premier pro cs4. I have created a project that has dozens of sub clips in different bins. It is a documentary and there is a ton of footage that is redundant in the root and subsidiary folders related to this project on the hard drive. I would like to free up hard drive space and trim up my project.
Is there a way to batch convert these sub clips ? I would like to render them as a lossles format as unique clips on the hard drive and have premier still recognise them with their named labels next time I open the project.
I have used virtual dub in the past to batch convert .avi files from a folder. It would really help me if I could do something similar inside of premier. To select each sub clip and add it manually to the media encoder seems time consuming and susceptible to ‘human error’To sum up. I would like to use Premiers media encoder and have it point to a folder within a premier project and then take all instances of sub clips and render them to my chosen settings.
I also have After effects CS4.Cheers
