I’ve heard that if you keep track of your timecode (i.e. writting down the timecode for the clips that you want to use) in an excell spreadsheet, that it is possible to import that spreadsheet into FCP’s batch capture and it will automatically log all the clips with out having to manually type in all that time code. If any one has heard of this and/or knows how to do this I would really appreceate some feedback as to how this is ackomplished.

    hey there,
Just gimme your email and I’ll send you a template we use. You have to keep the column headings the same but it rocks. Just add your data then save as a text or tab delimited file (i forget which) in the save as function, them import batch list into your project.

    Saves a ton of time.
