  • Batch Capture – Why does it Stop after each clip?

    Hey guys and gals,

I have to be doing something wrong. I am going through some old footage for a client and all I have to do is view the tapes and log clips from the tape that he asked for.

-Then I highlight the clips and do a Batch Capture.

Only after every clip that has been successfully captured, a window pops up letting me know that it successfully captured the last clip.

-Then I have to manually select another clip and then click capture.

I have other projects I can be working on, and it is taking up time for me to have to sit and baby sit the Batch Capture

Is there a setting that will let me merely select the clips I want to capture, do a Batch Capture and FCP capture all of the clips on the tape that I want with out stopping after every clip?

Thank you very much for your help.

Batch capture should do just that capture every clip. One thing to check is the reel name needs to be the same on each clip or it will think you need to change the tape.
