  • Batch capture stops after 1 file

I’m trying to batch capture a bunch of files that I’ve already logged. After the first file is complete, it finds the next file, but just keeps on going by it and does not capture. I’m capturing with a RTX.100 Matrox, firewire out of the board to my GL2.

Has anyone seen this before? I’ve searched other posts, but haven’t seen anyone talk about it.

First of all, i’ve heard of a lot of dudes that have had problems with those Matrox cards.

Secondly, make sure to check out your timecode both on the tape and on the files that you are about to batch capture. If you don’t have a constarnt timecode on the tape that you’re using then Premiere is going to have trouble finding that clip. If you screwed up while logging the clip, the timecode might be like 00;00;00;00 and ending at 00;00;00;01 (this is non existant) It’s not going to be able to find this clip. After you have selected all of your clips that you would like to capture, if the first one gives you trouble then go on to the next one and so on so that you can narrow down the ones that you’re having problems with.

Thirdly, check out my website and love life while watching the videos http://www.nakedapefilms.com

Thanks very much. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve since switched to using the generic DV capture settings, and it seems to be working fine.
