    Hello.

I Log and transfered material from my Canon 5D mark 2 into fcp. I did it with offline quality Prores Proxy. Everything went fine.

Now I want to create a online version with prores 422.
I have created the new version with media manager but when I want to recapture the media it says it wont find it.

I have all the volumes mounted.
One thing is that when I captured all the material from source to offline I never gave the reels names. It says it cant find the source.

When i add the volume i get a wfcp warning message saying 100EOS5D contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media.”

What can i do to fix this?
    Thankful for help.

How? Did you back up the cards first, into a folder with a UNIQUE name? Doesn’t sound like you did this. This is how you get unique reel names.

See..that’s a problem. So again, HOW did you import the footage? Log and Transfer will ALWAYS assign a reel name…even if it is the NO NAME that P2 cards get, or whatever default your CF cards give. So what was your original process for offloading and importing?

YOu have to choose the folder containing all those internal folders. You can’t point FCP to the folders INSIDE the card…you need to choose the card…or the card backup. Did you back up the full card?
