I have a Final Cut Pro HD 4 project that contains HDV logging information, logged using DV down convertion.

We have since upgraded to version 5, and I now need to batch capture all the footage.

The trouble is, some of the captured clip durations are not time accurate to how it was logged. A few seconds are shaved off start and end points, etc.

Also, some clips seem to be split into two parts eg – “CLIP 01” would be captued as “CLIP 01” and “CLIP 01-1”. I even changed the preference to ‘On timecode break – Warn After Capture’ but it made no difference.

I also get the occasional Stream Error. What does all this mean?

    Thanks

Yeah, I noticed these errors myself… I think they may be attributed to MacOS X 10.4.1 update. Since that update, my systems have been acting very strange.
