I tried to batch capture these 3 mini DV tapes, but none of them worked.

I’ve put in the start and end time, filled in other info needed, and hit log clip. When I click Batch Capture, it either come up with “Tape ejected” or “Batch Capture finished” when it hasn’t captured anything, or it just keeps seeking. I’ve rebooted the computer and the DV decks many times and re-tried the process.

I’m working on Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, standard 48kHz, on Windows XP.

Could somebody please let me know what have I done wrong? Thank you so much in advance.

    Hi Ditha

Have you checked the Scene Detect box in the lower part of the capture window? Also I like to tick the: Capture with handles box after you have right clicked to batch capture in your project bin. I normally put 12 frame handles. Also I found that if your timecode is not consistent the capture will stop itself.

Anyway hope this helps and good luck with the capturing.
    Take it easy
    Ross.
