Batch Capture HDV w/timecode in Vegas 8?
Hi, I got a reply from a posting by John Kert about 2 weeks ago in which he told be I could batch capture with timecode HDV footage from my sony fx1 in Vegas 8, which I wasn’t able to do in Vegas 6. Because of his reply, I purchased Vegas 8 sight unseen. Now I find myself with the same problem: when the internal HDV caputre window comes up, the timecode boxes are greyed out and it isn’t possible for me to enter the timecode info or batch capture. Was he incorrect abot Vegas 8
being able to batch capture HDV with timecode, or is there just a wrong setting or something I need to change. Your help would be a gift from God, as I have a long edit I need to recapture in HDV, and I hope my purchase of Vegas 8 was not in

In Vegas Pro8 and Vegas7, when you go: File->Capture Video->HDVorSDI
when the capture window comes up for HDV, there are boxes for timecode In & Out.
I do not know about Vegas 6.

there is NO batch capture for HDV, much to my annoyance. i’m told you can via SDI, but then again, the decks start at $15k.
