Batch capture
Hi- Im recapturing footage from an old project. Im using AJA LA i/o RS-422 deck control and a Panasonic AJ-D650 deck with DVCPro media. Im getting many errors when trying to batch capture 1 or 2 clips from a bin/tape saying “end of tape reached” and so forth. Now upon trying to open the project Im getting a general error -27. Im running FCP 5.1.1 and the project was created in 4.X. Recently dumped preferences. Any ideas about a resolution to this probelm?

Not pretty, but a short term fix might be to just log the clips manually and capture them one by one.

That is what I have done to get through this. Im wondering what might be the cause of the trouble because it will surely be back to haunt me.
