  Basic Question: Problem transferring from Nikon D5000

  Greetings CC,

  I’ve had this Nikon 5000 for several months, and have been using the transferring client called Nikon Transfer. I believe this is the only way to do it.

  Anyway, I have some videos that I need to take off my drive in the next few hours, but Nikon Transfer is not picking up my device. I’ve tried plugging it into different USB ports, and sometimes the green LED will flash on the D5000 for about 10 seconds, then stop.

  If I’m missing something that’s obvious, let me know. Otherwise, is there any other way to transfer Nikon files to a MacBook? (The device doesn’t show up on the desktop when connected)
