  Basic Question (Plugin Development)

  I have a very basic question related to plugin development. ( I am posting here because I found no where else to post). Is it possible to make plug-ins using Java? From what I heard the SDK is C/C++ based. My point is, If I make something in Processing (which is essentially Java), is there a way I can make a plugin for After Effects based on it?
