  • BASIC QUESTION: best composition size settings for AE 6.5 for a FCP HD project.

My friend is designing an animation to go in a Final Cut Pro project. The timeline settings for the FCP project is: DVCPRO HD 720p60 compressor, editing timebase 23.98, 960×720 – the usual setting for Varicam footage.

What would be the proper project settings for the animation clip to be imported into FCP?

    Specifically, what should be the…

    1) Preset? (or width and height)
    2) Pixel Aspect Ratio setting?
    3) Frame rate?

We wanted to output this as a quicktime movie and import it into the FCP and drop into the timeline without the need to render.
