    Hi Shane,

    Thanks for this and your following posting. I’ve asked the engineers to check this DV issue out thoroughly if they haven’t already. We should know more next week.

    In regards to DV on Mac, Final Cut Pro currently does not support mixing of DV with uncompressed formats on the same timeline so this is a non-issue on the Mac. The latest Final Cut Pro HD does allow for mixing of some formats with DeckLink cards but not DV with uncompressed.

    I did one more test. I created an 8bit 4×3 BM job and captured the same clip twice from within the job.

    1) SDI in
    2) 1394 in

    The 1394 version exibited the same field reversal problem as imported DV files.

    Another clue I’ve heard in the Axio forum is fields reversed on Quick Time DV imports. Maybe that is where the problem lies as you are using Quick time n’est pas?

    BTW being able to mix DV with SDI is just fantastic.
