    hi im sure someone else has covered this before
    but im wondering how do i take an image and make it follow
    a path i created, kinda like path text only with images instead of text.

    Hmmm. I’m not sure I understand. You want’ to have a raster image animate along a path?
    or
    Create a pattern brush of an image, than apply the brush to a path?
    If the latter, you could open the image with Illustrator, than drag it into the brush palette.
    Than, select the path and click on the brush you just created, in the Brushes palette.

    Let us know if this is even remotely close to what you are looking for.

    sorry i will try to explain better
    say i want to take a star and have it follow a circle path
    how would i do that? can it be done using a raster image
    or is a brush better?

    I don’t think you can use a raster as a brush, unsure.

    You can apply a brush to any path.
