Hi I am relatively new to after effects and completely new to expressions. I know there is a basic answer for my question I just can’t seem to put my finger on it.

I am creating a 2d animation. I attempting to use the wiggle expression. I can’t seem to work out how to wiggle something on one axis only. I can generate all kinds of randomness. I want to be able to add into the expression that I only want it to wiggle the object on the Y axis for example. Could someone let me know what I need to add or pickwhip intothe following expression:

    wiggle(1,50)

    cheers
    Matt
